Beach Read 2014 Pick One:
Wedding Night – Sophie Kinsella (Chick Lit)

Synopsis: Lottie finally thinks she’s got it right – Richard is about to propose and they will live their happily-ever-after. But when Richard’s big question is NOT at all what Lottie thought, she embarks on what her sister Fliss calls one of her Unfortunate Choices. She meets up with an old flame, and they rashly decide to marry and get the life they believe they deserve. Fliss, who knows Lottie better than anyone, is determined to stop the madness.

Opinion: I always enjoy Sophie Kinsella novels, and usually find myself reading one at the beginning of the summer. They set my reading mood off right. This book was no different – I definitely enjoyed it. The characters of Lottie and Fliss are greatly developed… to the point where their actions actually aggravate you (or me, at least!). This is a book I would absolutely recommend for a beach read. All in all, a book that begs you to follow your heart AND your mind.
